Filmroom

The night they finally sit down and watch it.

Give that evening a page worth opening — their names across a still from their own film, one button, and a download that simply works. Your studio's name on it, never ours.

What a couple sees

A film, in the dark, and nothing else.

No sidebar. No logo grid. No cookie banner. Just a still from their film, their names, and one button — so the first thing they feel is the work, not the website it arrived in.

The gallery on a tablet.
The gallery on a laptop: the couple's names over a still from their film.
The gallery on a phone.

The same gallery on a laptop, a tablet and a phone. Stills are placeholders.

Every cut

The teaser, the ceremony, the speeches — all in one place.

The feature film sits at the top. Everything else follows underneath, named the way you name them, so nobody has to work out which file is which.

Cards for the other cuts: highlight reel, full ceremony, toasts and speeches.

The locked gallery: a passcode field on a black page.

Layouts

Six ways to lay it out. Your colour, your type, your logo.

Pick one and every gallery you deliver follows it. Set your brand colour, choose a type pairing and upload your mark — a couple never sees a trace of us. The frames below are the same wedding in all six.

The Cinema layout: a still fills the frame with the couple's names over it.
CinemaA frame from the film fills the screen and their names sit on it. The default, and the strongest when the still is strong.
The Marquee layout: a struck frame around the player with a filmstrip below.
MarqueeThe film in a struck frame, names announced above, the other cuts on a filmstrip below. Reads like a programme.
The Spread layout: words on the left, film and cuts on the right.
SpreadAn editorial two-column. The only one that gives a written note to the couple real room.
The Scroll layout: the feature film on top, each cut a full-width band.
ScrollEvery cut gets a full-width band of its own, so a six-film delivery reads as well as a two-film one.
The Card layout: an invitation resting on a blurred still.
CardAn invitation on a blurred frame. The most ceremonial, and it survives a weak still because the still is out of focus by design.
The Plain layout: no stills, just the ground, the film and the names.
PlainNo stills at all. For studios whose work should be the only image on the page — and the least forgiving of the six.

Privacy

Their day, without anyone watching over their shoulder.

Most delivery pages quietly tell a handful of companies that a couple just opened their wedding film. This one doesn't. Until somebody presses play there is not a single request to anyone but us — which is also why there's no cookie banner in the way of the first thing they see.

Not indexed

Invisible to search

Link previews stay deliberately plain, so a forwarded message never shows their names or a frame of the film.

Two locks

A secret link, then a code

The link is what really hides it. The five-character code is the second lock — short enough to read down the phone to a mother-in-law.

One button

Take it all back

A new code signs out every device and stops every download link you have already sent. One action, nothing left loose.

No tracking

Counted, not watched

You see plays and downloads. We keep no addresses, no browser strings, and there is no analytics script anywhere near it.

Your side of it

Deliver a wedding in about two minutes.

Upload, name the cuts, put them in order, send the link and the code. Then get on with the next edit — and look back later to see who watched and who took a copy.

The studio admin: the link and passcode to send, and each film with its title, length and settings.

Editing a wedding — drag to reorder, and the couple's page redraws beside you as you go.

Why not just…

Every other way of handing it over has a catch.

And it is usually the couple who finds it, on the evening they were most excited to sit down and watch.

Buy an upload pack, deliver as many weddings as it covers, and come back when it runs out. Nothing renews, nothing lapses in February, and there is no allowance to keep an eye on mid-season. Every gallery you deliver stays online for three years.

In every pack, whichever you buy

  • ·As many galleries as you like
  • ·Three years online, each one
  • ·4K streaming and 4K download
  • ·Your own domain and branding
  • ·Passcode privacy, plays and downloads counted
  • ·Gigabytes that never expire

Then, if they want it kept

£35 takes a wedding from three years to ten.

Buy it when you deliver and it is £35 — put “hosted for ten years” in your package and charge the couple whatever you think it is worth. Leave it until the three-year reminder and it is £50, because chasing a couple you have not spoken to since 2029 is worth avoiding.

Either way it is your client and your relationship. We never invoice them and never appear in front of them — with one exception: if a studio stops trading, we let its couples extend for themselves rather than let the films go dark.

Questions

The things filmmakers actually ask.

Where do the films really live?

On a network built for video, with your own isolated library. Keep your own masters as you would anyway — this is how you hand films over, not where you back them up.

Can couples download in 4K?

Yes — what they download is the master you uploaded, at whatever resolution you gave us. They can stream in 4K too. There are no tiers here: the packs differ only in size, and a 4K film is simply a bigger file, so it uses more of one.

What if I run out mid-season?

Buy another pack. Gigabytes never expire, they simply sit there until you use them, and nothing you have already delivered is affected.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Point films.yourstudio.com at us and the certificate is handled for you. Our name appears nowhere a couple can see it.

What happens after three years?

The gallery comes down unless it has been extended. You will hear from us well before, with a one-click extension you can pass on to the couple. We would rather say that plainly than promise forever and quietly break it later.

When can I use it?

It is still being built. There is nothing to sign up to yet — if you film weddings and want to know when there is, say hello.

Hand it over the way you shot it.
